Optimizing key functionalities on Parts.cat.com, Caterpillar’s Global B2B Platform

As Lead UX/UI Specialist at Accenture, I worked on parts.cat.com, Caterpillar’s global B2B e-commerce platform used by dealers and enterprise clients worldwide to purchase parts and services. This work was part of Caterpillar’s Unified Digital Experience initiative, an internal program dedicated to continuously improving and innovating one of the company’s strongest digital sales channels. I collaborated closely with a large IT team and a US-based design team, ensuring alignment across disciplines. My contributions focused on optimizing the catalogue, product detail page, checkout flow, conducting UX evaluation, proposing improvements to specific UI components within their complex Design System model and delivering design solutions that improved usability, scalability, and consistency across 10+ languages.
