An innovative flashy design for a new App start-up

Noctu is a hybrid mobile app start-up project that pulls data from local users that report specific risks in nightlife spots and make them visible through records and maps. Because it aggregates local data, it offers a real-time look at crime within any particular area, including reported suspicious activity. In addition, the end user can be notified via push notification and email about any new reports based on your location. My role in this project was as a Digital Product Designer, working among the founding team to capture, consult, guide and execute a realistic prototype ready to be tested within their end-users and pitched to potential investors. As an expert consultant, I designed the product's branding and did the art direction. Then I started leading UX workshops with the business and development teams to gain a deep understanding of the Unique Selling Proposition of the product and functionalities, which later on and after multiple iterations, I transformed into a tangible UI Prototype.
